About Our Spokesperson
Steve Crumb is the AUTOSAR North American Regional Spokesperson responsible for the User Group, Events and supporting AUTOSAR partners in the region. Steve also serves as the Executive Director of COVESA, formerly the GENIVI Alliance, which he founded in 2009.
Steve has been active in automotive standards and open technologies for over 15 years. Steve actively supports the COVESA/AUTOSAR alignment activities with a special focus on legal and licensing topics.
Steve resides in Florida with his wife. They have five adult children and two grandchildren.

Purpose & Background
The industry is facing an extreme shortage of AUTOSAR engineers. The North America Hub continues to open a line of clear and effective communication between all AUTOSAR engineers to create, learn and collaborate together.
This user group invites all regional AUTOSAR Enthusiasts to participate in sharing and collaborating in AUTOSAR standardization.
Status
The AUTOSAR North America Hub enhances collaboration between AUTOSAR partners through regular User Group meetings and other events.
The Hub is available to connect Partner representatives with leaders of AUTOSAR's standardization leaders, to help gather requirements and new concepts for AUTOSAR's standardization work, and to enable current and new Partner organizations to realize the greatest value from their participation in AUTOSAR.

UG-NA Meetings & Presentations
The North America Hub, is chaired by its regional spokesperson Steve Crumb.
We want to maximize awareness of AUTOSAR Standardization and promote leadership within the SDV industry by consistently engaging with local users through user meetings, and regional automotive events participation.

Based on AUTOSAR Open Strategy, the AUTOSAR North America Hub has always attached great importance to and actively exchanged ideas with local automotive and software organizations.
AUTOSAR's ongoing standardization of the concept Vehicle API is suitable for combining with the standardization in North America for common development.
