Purpose & Background
- The trend towards software-defined vehicles is significantly driving the market demand for AUTOSAR software engineers, resulting in a substantial shortage of professionals in this field.
- Universities educate more AUTOSAR software engineers could enable them to better meet industry demands. However, this requires appropriate teaching materials, courseware, and tools for both teaching and research.
- Enabling more students to become familiar with AUTOSAR standards and its tools could greatly benefit AUTOSAR related companies and even the whole industry.
- Greater application of AUTOSAR standards within the industry is willing to be seen.
In this case, the AUTOSAR China Hub started University Program to promote the education and application of AUTOSAR among university professors and students.
