AUTOSAR Regional Spokesperson Japan

AUTOSAR has appointed Masahiro Goto as Regional Spokesperson for Japan.

In 2004 DENSO Corporation joined AUTOSAR, and since then Masahiro Goto has continuously been involved with AUTOSAR, beginning in the Working Group for Body Control Application Interface. During this period, he lived and worked in Germany. Masahiro Goto then worked on AUTOSAR’s Regional Working Packages for Japan.

Currently, Masahiro Goto is involved in standardization activities within the ISO consortium as the Chairperson of E/E components and general aspects (ISO/TC22/SC32). Additionally, Masahiro is leading the future software technology at DENSO for standardization aspect, working on topics such as new basic software components and Software Defined Vehicle.

Before joining AUTOSAR, Masahiro began investigating methods to enable distributed control systems, both on hardware and software side and continues to pursue those topics.

Since the automotive software field is changing drastically due to the use of extremely high processing capacity CPUs, Masahiro’s motivation is to prepare and provide enabled technologies for realizing Software Defined Architecture like basic software and middleware.

AUTOSAR looks forward to continuing its collaboration with Masahiro Goto and wishes him much success in carrying out his new duties as Regional Spokesperson for Japan and continued support in current areas of responsibility.
